Qijun MEI (1972—), born in Hanshou, Hunan Province, is a member of the Jiusan Society, a professor, and a leading academic figure in philosophy and social sciences in Guizhou Province's higher education institutions.

 

Education Background 

- 1992: Graduated from the Chinese Language and Literature program, Department of Chinese Language and Literature, Changde Normal College.

- 2000: Graduated with a Master's degree in Philosophy of Science and Technology from the School of Humanities and Law, Central South University of Technology.

- 2006: Graduated with a Ph.D. in Philosophy of Science and Technology from the School of Humanities and Law, Northeastern University.

Awards

- The monograph “The Spread of Modern Technology and Cultural Changes in Guizhou's Ethnic Villages” won the third prize in the Thirteenth Philosophy and Social Science Outstanding Achievement Awards of Guizhou Province.

- The monograph “An Analysis of the Research Program on Technological Autonomy” won the third prize in the Eighth Philosophy and Social Science Outstanding Achievement Awards of Guizhou Province.
